Medvedev on the camera placed on the net: "What is it doing there if it can't show anything?"

After his victory against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in Dubai, Daniil Medvedev commented on the moment when video arbitration was requested to determine if the French player had touched the net during a volley.
With the post obstructing the view, no one was able to tell if Mpetshi Perricard had touched the net or not.
So, during the press conference, the Russian expressed his question about the usefulness of the camera placed directly on the net, which could have been used to review this sequence correctly:
"I have only one thing to say. At the Australian Open, I was fined 60,000 dollars because I didn’t know it wasn’t a GoPro. It was a high amount, but it’s understandable, rules are rules.
But today, during the match, I don't think he touched the net. We had video arbitration. It can be decisive.
And then, you have this 60,000-dollar camera that can't show anything. So I ask myself: 'What is it doing there?' When I broke it at the Australian Open, I thought it shouldn't even be there.
It's a net, there shouldn’t be a camera on it. So now, I'm asking everyone: 'What is this camera doing there if it can't show if someone touches the net?' Thank you."
