Medvedev: "I'm not sure I'm ready to do even more to win a Grand Slam"

Amid a resurgence on the courts, Daniil Medvedev has opened up about his deep doubts and his almost painful quest for another Grand Slam title.
Daniil Medvedev, 29, former world number one and 2021 US Open champion, was asked about the sacrifices he would be willing to make to win another Grand Slam. To which he replied:
"Tough question. I already give everything and I'm not sure I'm ready to give more than that. I try to give my best, always. It's been a complicated year, where I haven't played at my best level. Today, I'm playing good tennis, positive signs have appeared, and I just want to look to the future."
Since his triumph at the US Open, Medvedev has been chasing a second Major crown. But 2024 has not been kind: many lows, and constant pressure to maintain his position among the tour's elite.
