Mensik on Djokovic: "I Hope He Manages to Win His 25th Grand Slam"

Jakub Mensik, who defeated Novak Djokovic in the Miami final this season, spoke about the Serb's desire to win his 25th Grand Slam.
He stated: "Novak has a decision to make. He’s getting older, that’s obvious, but he’s still fighting for a spot in the Top 5 or Top 10, showing his determination to stay at the top.
He might not win all four Grand Slam titles in a single season, but he has the potential to do so. I know he’s aiming for his 25th title, and I truly hope he achieves it.
To me, he’s the greatest of all time, even if he never wins another thing. We trained together after the 2022 Australian Open junior final. I remember he came up to me during the match.
At the press conference afterward, I said for the first time that Novak was my idol, and he responded by inviting me to his training center in Belgrade.
There, I had the chance to do several training sessions with him. Later, just before Wimbledon, we went back to Montenegro, and that’s where our friendship began."
