Mirra Andreeva Advances to the Second Round in Stuttgart After Sister's Withdrawal
The Andreeva sisters, Mirra and Erika, faced off on the courts of Stuttgart this Wednesday. Unfortunately, the match did not live up to its full potential due to the older sister Erika's withdrawal.
She had a large bandage on her right knee and, due to pain, was forced to retire after 40 minutes of play with the score at 6-2, 1-0.
In the next round, Mirra Andreeva will face Ekaterina Alexandrova.
