Mirra Andreeva to Fine-Tune Wimbledon Preparation in Bad Homburg
The breakout star of the early 2025 season, Mirra Andreeva, has just celebrated her 18th birthday. The Russian, now ranked 7th in the world, has claimed her first two WTA 1000 titles this season with victories in Dubai and Indian Wells.
Recently defeated in the quarterfinals in both Madrid and Rome by Coco Gauff each time, Andreeva already has plans for the grass-court swing, which begins in June.
Before competing at Wimbledon, where Andreeva reached the Round of 16 two years ago, the Krasnoyarsk native will participate in the Bad Homburg tournament for the second consecutive year.
Last year, she fell in the first round to Dayana Yastremska. Andreeva joins Iga Swiatek, Jasmine Paolini, Paula Badosa, Belinda Bencic, and Eva Lys in the lineup for the 2025 edition.
