Monterrey WTA 500 Draw: Navarro Receives Wild Card, Two Other Top 20 Players Present

The Monterrey WTA 500 tournament has revealed its draw. Emma Navarro, seeking match play, has been granted a wild card to compete in the tournament.
The American has only secured one win in four matches played during this North American swing.
She benefits from a first-round bye and could face Leylah Fernandez as early as the quarterfinals. She is the tournament's top seed.
The No. 2 seed is Ekaterina Alexandrova. She will face either wild card Ajla Tomljanovic or Renata Zarazua in the second round. A potential quarterfinal clash against Beatriz Haddad Maia awaits.
The third Top 20 player in Monterrey is Diana Shnaider. She finds herself in the same section of the draw as Navarro and Elise Mertens.
