Corentin Moutet is making the most of his lucky loser status at the ATP 500 in Washington.

Far more composed than the Brit, Moutet secured a 6-2, 7-6 victory, firing 27 winners to 24 unforced errors and converting four of seven break points.
Now through to the quarterfinals of the event for the first time in his career, he will face Daniil Medvedev. This will mark their first hard-court meeting.
