Mpetshi Perricard defeated by Navone in Madrid

The learning experience on clay continues for Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and it is not a smooth journey. The French player faced another defeat in the first round at the Madrid Masters 1000.

He was defeated by Mariano Navone, a specialist on the surface, with a score of 6-4, 6-4.

Despite the fast conditions in the Spanish capital, which could have favored Mpetshi Perricard, especially in serving, he only managed 4 aces and only had one break point opportunity that he couldn't convert.

The next challenge for the French player will be in Rome, still searching for his first win on clay this season. As for Navone, he will face Ben Shelton in the second round.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.
