Musetti: "Being a father has made me mature and allowed me to become happier"
Lorenzo Musetti arrives in Rome with all eyes on him. The new Top 10 player is coming off two extremely satisfying tournaments in Monte-Carlo and Madrid and is expected to deliver similar performances in his home country.
During a press conference, he spoke about his recent fatherhood and the changes it has brought: "I remember when I became a father last year, in March, many people criticized me because of my young age.
I have to admit I was a little scared about how I would handle the situation, and it was difficult at first, but I feel that over the months, we’ve found a perfect balance.
Being a father has made me mature and allowed me to become happier and more aware of everything happening in life. It shows on the court."
Musetti will make his debut in Rome against either Otto Virtanen or Hamad Medjedovic.
