Musetti: "My attitude made a big difference today".

Winner over Taylor Fritz (3-6, 7-6, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1) at Wimbledon on Wednesday, Lorenzo Musetti was obviously delighted to qualify for his first Grand Slam semi-finals. The Italian was mentally very solid on Court n°1 and confirmed that it was certainly his attitude that made the biggest difference.
Lorenzo Musetti: "I'll probably run out of words. It's difficult to talk, but I'll do my best. I don't think I realize yet what I've done.
My team and I were joking about trying to play a match on one of Wimbledon's big courts. Because I'd never done it before. And to play today in this magnificent stadium (Court n°1) was an honor for me.
I think we played a fantastic match, because Taylor was really in great form. I'm really, really happy to be in the semi-finals here for the first time.
I think I played my best tennis in the 5th set, saving the best for last. I didn't get off to the best start. Taylor (Fritz) was dictating the game and I couldn't return his serve well.
But I had the right reaction after his break at the start of the 2nd set, and I changed my state of mind. That attitude probably made a big difference today. So I hope that on Friday I'll have that same attitude."
