Musetti on a Mission in Chengdu, Monfils for an Explosive Generational Clash

Chengdu ignites even before the first exchange. Indeed, the organization has unveiled the draw for the ATP 250 (from September 17 to 23) and it promises some interesting matchups.
At the top of the draw, Lorenzo Musetti, world No. 9 and the tournament's No. 1 seed, cannot afford any errors. He will start against the winner of the match between Croatian Dino Prizmic (20 years old, one of his country's hopefuls) and Terence Atmane, the Frenchman capable of the best... or the most unpredictable.
"I came here to make a statement, not just to rack up points," the Italian declared before his tournament debut.
But the real attraction might come from a possible explosive French showdown: Gaël Monfils, 39, could face Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, 22, 2 meters tall with a powerful serve.
The tournament also hosts a fine selection of players in form or seeking redemption: Darderi, Norrie, Sonego, Baez, and Griekspoor.
