Musetti and Auger-Aliassime in the Spotlight: The ATP 250 Tournament in Brussels Promises Excitement
The Belgian capital is gearing up to come alive with tennis, as the ATP 250 tournament in Brussels kicks off. Headlined by Lorenzo Musetti and Félix Auger-Aliassime, this tournament promises to be thrilling. On the French side, the absence of Arthur Fils is noteworthy.
From October 12 to 19, the first edition of the ATP 250 tournament in Brussels will take place, replacing the Antwerp tournament on the ATP calendar. To mark the occasion, the Belgian capital will host some of the main contenders from the circuit.
Lorenzo Musetti and Félix Auger-Aliassime are expected to be the top two seeds. Jiri Lehecka, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Frances Tiafoe, João Fonseca, and Roberto Bautista Agut will also be present.
For the French players, Arthur Fils, who was initially registered, will ultimately not be present in Belgium. However, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (seed number 6), Benjamin Bonzi, and Arthur Rinderknech are expected in Brussels.
It is worth noting that Terence Atmane, Quentin Halys, and Valentin Royer are on the waiting list and could join the main draw in case of withdrawals. However, there would need to be at least five such withdrawals for Atmane to avoid qualifications.
