My goal is to find the right person," Paolini still searching for a coach
Jasmine Paolini parted ways with her former coach, Renzo Furlan, last March. The Italian then turned to Marc Lopez, but their collaboration lasted only three months before ending in July.
For this summer's American tour, Paolini will be accompanied by Federico Gaio. During a press conference, she spoke about her search for a coach.
"Things happen—sometimes you feel it's time for a change, to switch things up. I had a very long relationship with Renzo (Furlan), seven wonderful years with him, but at the time, I was looking for something else.
Now, let's say the same thing happened to me again; I made another change. For now, my goal is to find the right person, someone who will bring me peace of mind.
Fortunately, the Italian Tennis Federation is supporting me a lot, with someone I know well from training there since childhood. We have a good connection so far; we’ll see what the future holds and who my next coach will be.
