Rafael Nadal has finally played and made a successful return to competition. Absent from the circuit since the French Open, the Majorcan played a serious match in the first round of the ATP 250 in Bastad.

Against Léo Borg, son of a certain Bjorn Borg, he didn't play his best tennis, but played a very serious match to win with authority (6-3, 6-4).
