One year after his retirement, Rafael Nadal remains attentive to the results on the men's circuit.

Shortly after Spain's defeat in the Davis Cup, the former world No. 1 wanted to send a message of support to his former teammates while congratulating Italy's new triumph, winning the competition for the third year in a row:

"Bravo to the whole team! An impressive week in the Davis Cup! Congratulations to Italy for the third Davis Cup in a row."

During his illustrious career, Nadal won the Silver Salad Bowl with Spain five times, in 2004, 2008, 2009, 2011, and then 2019, the year the new format was introduced.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
