"Need to be present against Sinner!", Rinderknech calls on supporters
Facing Sinner for his first match at Roland-Garros, Rinderknech knows the challenge will be more than steep. World number one, the Italian made his return home in Rome after a three-month suspension and reached the final.
In a message posted on his social networks, the Frenchman is calling on supporters, particularly "La tribune bleue", a group of French supporters, to come in numbers to encourage him.
To which they humorously replied: "We're pumped! Just make sure you arrange for the match to be on the 14th."
The two players have faced each other three times. While Sinner has beaten him the last two times, the Frenchman won their first meeting in Lyon in 2021.
