Osorio Triumphs for the Third Time in Her Career in Bogotá
Camila Osorio is truly at home in Bogotá. For the third time in her young career and the second year in a row, the Colombian claimed the title in front of her home crowd, defeating qualifier Katarzyna Kawa in the final (6-3, 6-3).
A heavy favorite at the start of the week, Osorio was dominant in her section of the draw, while Marie Bouzková, last year’s runner-up and the top seed, fell in the quarterfinals to Kawa.
At 23, Osorio has become the second player to win the tournament three times (2021, 2024, and 2025), behind Fabiola Zuluaga, who triumphed four times in the Colombian capital (1999, 2002, 2003, and 2004).
She will remain just outside the Top 50 tomorrow, holding the 53rd spot in the world rankings.
