Julieta Pareja has advanced to the semifinals of the WTA 250 in Bogota. Initially invited by the organizers for the qualifiers, the Colombian player has since strung together five consecutive victories without dropping a single set.
The 16-year-old secured her quarterfinal win against Jeanjean (7-6, 6-3) and will now face Kawa for a spot in the final.
