Perhaps in a few years, Rune will think this was the best thing that could have happened to him, says Mouratoglou

Patrick Mouratoglou knows Holger Rune well, having coached the Dane on several occasions. He spoke about Rune's injury, attempting to put things into perspective.

In comments reported by Punto de Break, he stated: "It's the worst thing that can happen to a professional player.

But perhaps in a few years, Holger will think it was the best thing that could have happened to him. We all saw those shocking images: Holger collapsing, crying on the court, instantly realizing that something was broken.

Every high-level athlete's nightmare. You're competing for a title, and the next moment, you know your season is over, perhaps for a year.

The most interesting things happen in the worst moments. If you lift your head, open your eyes and ears, and reflect, that's when you can truly change.

You might not see it now, but after the operation, during rehabilitation, you'll have time to try things you couldn't do before.

He is passionate about tennis, in the best possible way. That's why he doesn't have much time to reflect, study, or discover other things. This can be an excellent time for reflection.

Players' mindsets change when they go through tough times. It's the moment when changes can be made that have a significant positive impact on their careers.

Holger is young, incredibly motivated. This break will force him to slow down, to see things differently, to work on himself, not only as a player but also as a person.

I've experienced it myself. I've seen it with the players I've coached. It's in the darkest moments, when everything seems to be falling apart, that you can rebuild stronger than ever. Sometimes, the biggest setbacks are just opportunities in disguise.
