Prize Money: Alcaraz Leads the Race for the Largest Share of the Bonus Pool
Since 2023, ATP Tour players have been eligible for a significant bonus prize called the "Bonus Pool." This fund is awarded to the top 30 players who have earned the most points in the PIF ATP Rankings during the ATP Masters 1000 tournaments and the Nitto ATP Finals of the season, provided they participate.
This year, the total amount of this Bonus Pool stands at $21 million, up from $11.5 million in 2022. Its purpose is to encourage player participation in the most prestigious tournaments, namely all the Masters 1000 events.
As a result, the player who accumulates the most points by competing in all major events (excluding Grand Slams) of the season earns the largest share of the "Bonus Pool." This amount reaches €4.5 million, a significant bonus the player will receive in addition to their earnings from each ATP Masters 1000 tournament.
For now, Spain's Alcaraz leads the rankings with 2,410 points accumulated, followed by Draper (1,960), Musetti (1,650), and Casper Ruud (1,510).
