Relaxing before the grass season resumes... Tsitsipas reflects on his vacation in Ibiza

Present in Halle, Tsitsipas will face Darderi in the first round of the tournament. During the media day, the Greek player addressed questions about the timing of his trip to Ibiza with Badosa. For context, the player had traveled to Spain to party just days after his early exit at Roland Garros:

"We had a lot of fun exploring the island. I tried pretty much everything this place had to offer, from the peaceful countryside to the livelier spots. My vacation was very diverse, which I’m very grateful for, as it allowed me to escape daily life and maybe even relax before the grass season resumed."

The player, who has dropped to 26th in the world rankings, then discussed his decision to compete in Halle. A choice influenced in part by the support of German fans:

"I think Germany has the most passionate tennis fans. I say this because I see them waiting outside the hotel. I’ve been observing them for many years, since my first time here, and I can say with certainty that they are the most dedicated tennis fans I’ve ever seen.
