"I’m learning a lot every day," Tsitsipas discusses his new collaboration with Ivanisevic

Stefanos Tsitsipas has been struggling for many months now. The Greek player, ranked 26th in the world, has been falling inexorably in the rankings and recently dropped out of the top 20 for the first time since August 2018.
A sign of his rough patch, he hasn’t made it to the second week of a Grand Slam since last year’s Roland-Garros. This year, he was defeated in the first round of the Australian Open by Alex Michelsen and in the second round at Roland-Garros by an impeccable Matteo Gigante.
To regain confidence starting with this grass-court season, Tsitsipas has decided to bring in Goran Ivanisevic as his new coach. The 2001 Wimbledon champion ended his collaboration with Elena Rybakina earlier this season and will now try to get the Greek player back on track.
During a press conference before starting his Halle tournament against Luciano Darderi, Tsitsipas spoke about the early days of working with the 53-year-old former professional player.
"We’ve already started working together, and I’m learning a lot every day. It’s fair to say Goran (Ivanisevic) is one of the greatest servers of all time.
So I think the serve will be one of the priorities. He also has a wealth of experience in his career, both as a player and as a coach. That’s why I’m trying to learn as much as possible from him," Tsitsipas told Tennis Channel.
