Rinderknech Advances to Kitzbühel Semifinals

Arthur Rinderknech faced Yannick Hanfmann this Thursday in the Kitzbühel quarterfinals. The match started well for the Frenchman, who quickly broke his opponent’s serve.

The first set was wrapped up in 42 minutes with a score of 6-4. Unfortunately for him, he was broken early in the second set and couldn’t recover the deficit, despite having break-back opportunities.

In the decisive third set, Rinderknech saved an early break point before taking control and breaking Hanfmann’s serve twice.

Boosted by his strong serving (13 aces), Rinderknech secured the victory with a score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-1. He will face the winner between Arthur Cazaux and Jan-Lennard Struff in the semifinals.
