Rinderknech one set away from Rublev!
Arthur Rinderknech is just one set away from pulling off quite a feat. After a very good tournament in Montreal, the 56th player in the world may be on the verge of something big.
Already victorious after an extremely tough match in the first round, Rinderknech doesn't seem to be suffering much physically. Faced with a Rublev not quite at his best, the Frenchman has so far had the answer to everything and now leads two sets to nil (6-4, 7-5).
While nothing is yet certain and the world No. 6 can still turn the match around, the Frenchman is closer than ever to pulling off a rather unexpected feat.
