Roddick predicts a bright future for Fonseca: "He's one of those names where you expect to see a seed number next to his name"
Andy Roddick has revealed his predictions for the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the season, which kicks off on Sunday.
For the men's draw, the 2003 US Open winner took time to analyze the spectacular 1st round match-up between Andrey Rublev, seeded n°9, and Joao Fonseca, recent winner of the Next Gen Masters, the Canberra Challenger and qualifier for this Australian Open.
Roddick: "I love Rublev, he's been a monster for a while now. But I've got a lot of strangers sending me messages about Fonseca.
He's one of those names where you expect to see a number 5 next to his name, in two or three years' time at a Grand Slam. He's that good."
