Rublev confidently qualifies for quarter-finals in Montpellier
Last-minute guest in Montpellier, Andrey Rublev, seeded n°1, didn't have to exert his talent to beat Christopher Eubanks (6-4, 6-3) in his first match.
Very solid on his first serve (89% of points won behind), the Russian was able to ward off the three break points he faced and break his opponent in the middle of each set.
Thanks to this success, his first of the 2025 season, Rublev reaches the quarter-finals of the tournament, where he will face the winner of tomorrow's match between Nikoloz Basilashvili and Arthur Rinderknech.
