Rune Forced to Retire Against Borges in Monte-Carlo

Holger Rune made his debut at the Monte-Carlo Masters this Tuesday, a tournament he holds dear after reaching the final in 2023.
Unfortunately for the Dane, his first-round match against Nuno Borges did not go as he had hoped.
Rune, physically hampered, decided to retire after losing the first set 6-2 and conceding an early break in the second set.
The severity of his injury remains unknown. As for Borges, he will face Pedro Martinez in the second round.
