Ruud Leaves No Chance for Humbert and Wins the Stockholm Tournament
We last saw Casper Ruud with a withdrawal in Shanghai due to the complicated weather conditions in China. But this week, the Norwegian regained his form in Stockholm.
Facing Ugo Humbert in the final, Ruud crushed the Frenchman. Untouchable on serve, losing only 3 points throughout the entire match, it took him just 1 hour and 8 minutes to beat Humbert with a score of 6-2, 6-3.
Interviewed after his victory, the Norwegian appeared very satisfied, stating: "I played my best match of the year. Sorry, Ugo."
This is Ruud's 14th career title.
