Ruud on Saudi Arabia: "I've said what I think and I'll stick to that until there's a radical change in these countries".
Casper Ruud is currently in Norway to defend his country's colors at the Davis Cup.
He discussed aspects of his country and was also asked about countries such as Saudi Arabia, where he has no desire to travel to play exhibitions.
"In my case, I've always known I'd stay in Norway, although I admit that on several occasions the idea of moving has crossed my mind.
Many other players have decided to pack their bags and leave, but not me. For the time being, I've chosen to stay.
I feel very comfortable in Norway, where all my friends and family are close by, they're all in Norway.
We're a big country in many ways, so it's not fair to complain about everything and anything.
At the end of the day, I'm a simple citizen, like everyone else here. People can react to what I say, we all have the right to speak and express our opinion.
Nevertheless, I may have said more than I should have in the past, so in the future I may say less.
Back then, I said what I thought about the Gulf countries, and I'll stick to that until there's a radical change in those countries.
