Sabalenka on her defeat in the Australian Open final: "This one was hard to accept"

Aryna Sabalenka was present at a press conference for the start of the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells.

She was asked about her lost final at the Australian Open against Madison Keys and how she recovered from it.

The Belarusian stated: "This kind of disappointing defeat motivates me to work even harder.

I've had tough losses in my career, but this one was hard to accept, but it's behind me.

It took me a week or a little more to stop thinking about it and finally move on.

I would say I've learned my lesson and that it belongs to the past. It's also good to have these kinds of defeats because you know you'll do better in the future."
