"Secrets That Should Have Stayed in the Locker Room": The Reason Behind Departures in Sinner's Team Revealed

Jannik Sinner will face Pedro Martinez tomorrow in the third round at Wimbledon.
The world No. 1, who has dropped only twelve games so far in his first two matches, had to weather a minor media storm before the tournament. Indeed, he announced the departures of Marco Panichi (fitness coach) and Ulises Badio (physio) just days before his campaign began.
The news came as a surprise, as both men—who previously worked with Novak Djokovic—had joined the Italian's team in September 2024. This Friday, Corriere della Sera revealed the reason behind these changes made by Sinner.
Panichi allegedly "disclosed secrets that should have stayed in the locker room, particularly those from Paris." Among other things, it was revealed that Sinner had cried in the locker room for fifteen minutes and expressed his surprise at the crowd favoring Alcaraz.
As for Badio, he was reportedly a "collateral victim" of this decision.
