Serena Williams: "I became obsessed with dieting".
Serena Williams doesn't exactly relish retirement. Having enjoyed a legendary career, the American, who retired in 2022, recently confessed to having become even more focused on her weight and physical activity than she was during her career.
Interviewed by People Magazine, 'Serena' said: "I became obsessed, more obsessed with diet and exercise after my career than when I was playing tennis.
I knew I was going to burn 20,000 calories a day, and now I'm thinking, 'Oh my God, I don't know how many calories I'm going to be able to burn!' Look at me.
I'm trying to exercise. I want to try to run a half-marathon. That's my new goal. So I have to do something competitive. I miss tennis a lot."
