Sinner Becomes the Fifth Player to Achieve a First 52-Week Streak as World No. 1
Due to Carlos Alcaraz's withdrawal from the Madrid Masters 1000 and the points he will lose, Jannik Sinner is guaranteed to remain world No. 1 for a considerable period, no matter what happens.
On Monday, June 2, it will mark exactly 52 weeks since he reached the pinnacle of world tennis—a position he also attained for the first time.
As a result, he becomes the fifth player to achieve an initial 52-week streak as world No. 1.
The other players who have accomplished this feat are Novak Djokovic (53 weeks), Lleyton Hewitt (75 weeks), Jimmy Connors (165 weeks), and Roger Federer (237 weeks).
