Sinner: "I'm currently playing at a very high level".

Le 17/11/2024 à 09h06 par Clément Gehl
Sinner: I'm currently playing at a very high level.

Qualified for the final of the ATP Finals, Sinner is in excellent form. After his impressive victory over Casper Ruud (6-1, 6-2), the Italian commented on his current level of play: "It's been an excellent year.

My good preparation and intelligent organization of the calendar were crucial. The balance sheet is more than positive, but there's still the Davis Cup to come.

Against Fritz, I know it will be difficult to win. He's really raised his game, and in our group stage match, it all came down to small details.

Finals are always special matches. I have to pay close attention. In any case, I feel I've made a lot of progress as a tennis player over the last twelve months.

Right now, I'm playing at a very high level. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't surprised by myself. I don't consider that normal, and I can assure you that I'll never take anything for granted."

When will the doping verdict come? Would be a disaster for tennis if he gets suspended but on the other hand fair if he's guilty.

Everyone knows he's not guilty? That was a strange comment. Maybe in your public trial but that's not how it works or should work. Personally I believe that he got the substance by mistake but the questions that should be answered by the court are 1) did he get it by mistake? 2) does it matter if he got it by mistake? If the court decides he is guilty he should be suspended as everyone else in the same situation.

Except that he's not, as everyone already know
