Sinner is a Djokovic 2.0 and Novak knows it," says Becker on Djokovic's chances of winning a 25th Grand Slam

Novak Djokovic, 38, remains in top form for major tournaments. However, the Serb, who prioritizes Grand Slams, has yet to find an answer against Jannik Sinner, who defeated him in the semifinals at Roland-Garros and then at Wimbledon.
In the latest episode of the Becker-Petkovic podcast, Boris Becker shared his thoughts on Djokovic’s chances of winning another Grand Slam against the competition from Sinner and Alcaraz:
"Now, for him to win one, he’ll likely have to beat one of the two. That’s what happened at Wimbledon, and he said that tournament was his best chance. He has to realize that at 38, you get injured a bit more easily. Against Sinner, he was in good shape for the first two sets.
Sinner was simply the better player because he’s a Djokovic 2.0, 15 years younger. Novak knows it. I’m thrilled he reached the semifinals. He played a very strong tournament. But is that enough for him? He’s still playing because he wants that 25th Grand Slam, to hold that record.
You have to admit that if Sinner and Alcaraz are having a good day, they’re better than Djokovic on a good day. It frustrates him, but he’s realistic. The question is whether his chances of winning another Grand Slam are realistic, because time is running out.
