Monfils and Mpetshi Perricard will compete in the ATP 500 tournament in Washington (July 21-27). The 38-year-old player returns for the first time since 2023, while his younger counterpart heads to the U.S. capital for the second consecutive year.

Having arrived a few days ago, the two showcased their camaraderie by posting a fun video on social media. With his usual good spirits, Monfils displayed his dancing skills before making way for his tricolor partner.

On the sporting front, Monfils was eliminated in the second round of Wimbledon after a victory over his compatriot Humbert. In Washington, he is entered in singles as well as doubles with Australian Kyrgios. As for Mpetshi Perricard, he came close to upsetting the No. 5 seed, Fritz, in the first round of the London tournament.
