Sinner: "I've never won in Italy before".

Le 07/12/2024 à 13h34 par Elio Valotto
Sinner: I've never won in Italy before.

Jannik Sinner is the best player on the planet. A very promising player at the start of the 2023 season, he is now an undisputed world number 1 who almost never loses.

Reflecting on his incredible 2024 season in an interview with Esquire magazine, Sinner looked back on his year-end Masters triumph in Turin, his first major success on home soil.

It's true: I'd never won in Italy before. It hurt me not to play in Rome. It's normal to question the athletes you admire.

It's a way of encouraging them. For us, it must be a stimulus. If nobody talked about me, it would mean I wasn't interesting.
