Stats - No French player in the top 50 for the first time in three years
The X account Jeu, Set et Maths has published an alarming statistic on French women's tennis.
With the loss of ten places by Caroline Garcia, who decided to take a break from professional tennis, there are now no French players in the top 50.
This hasn't happened since January 2022 and, before that, since September 1986.
A statistic that demonstrates the decline of French women's tennis, with just three players in the top 100.
It's a worrying statistic which shows that, year on year, the situation of French women's tennis is hardly improving.
Despite Garcia's dazzling performances, there is no real succession behind her.
