Stats: Zverev Joins Exclusive List of Players Who Won a Title on Their Birthday

Zverev defeated Shelton in the Munich final (6-2, 6-4), securing his third title at the tournament.

Another unusual stat: the German won on his birthday (April 20, 1997). This is a rare occurrence on the ATP Tour.

Since 1990, only four players had achieved this feat. The world No. 2 now joins Boris Becker (1992 Masters), Yevgeny Kafelnikov (Marseille 2001), Andy Murray (Rome 2016), and Andrey Rublev (Moscow 2019).
