Swiatek: "I'm still not used to all this".
Iga Swiatek is challenging Jasmine Paolini for the title this Saturday at Roland-Garros. The Pole may have won the tournament 3 times and is playing in her 3rd consecutive final on the Paris clay, but she is still not familiar with the stakes and the atmosphere that surround these big matches.
That's what the world No.1 told us at her press conference.
Iga Swiatek: "I usually realize what I've achieved after the tournament. But during the tournament, I have the feeling that I just have to play another match. But sometimes it's hard to ignore the stakes, the atmosphere around these matches. So I'm still not used to it, and it's not routine.
But on the other hand, when I'm really focused on my work and my tennis, I can make it a routine. Because that's the easiest way to do it, in my opinion."
