Swiatek Reassures Herself Against Raducanu at Roland Garros

Iga Swiatek advanced to the third round of Roland Garros on Wednesday by defeating Emma Raducanu with a score of 6-1, 6-2.

While the Pole had raised concerns recently about her level of play, she secured a convincing victory against the Brit in just 1 hour and 19 minutes.

Asked after the match about her 23 consecutive wins at Roland Garros, Swiatek replied: "I don’t know, you tell me. I love playing here. This place inspires me and pushes me to work harder.

I think having a bit of rest beforehand helped me a little. I’m ready to fight and compete."

She will face either Jaqueline Cristian or Sara Bejlek in the next round.
