Video - After Sinner, Paolini Discovers Rafael Nadal's Plaque

Present at practice this Wednesday morning on Court Philippe-Chatrier, the 2024 Roland-Garros finalist, Jasmine Paolini, got to see the plaque honoring tournament legend Rafael Nadal.

Indeed, on the plaque dedicated to the Spaniard, his name "Rafa Nadal" is inscribed, along with the trophy representing his 14 Grand Slam titles and the imprint of his foot. Sinner, a compatriot of the Italian, had also touched the imprint of the Mallorcan after his match against Rinderknech.

Confident since her victory in Rome this season, Paolini advanced to the second round by defeating China's Yuan. She faces Tomljanovic on the main court today. The WTA's No. 4-ranked player is still chasing her first Grand Slam title, having reached two finals so far in her career.
