The name Lance Davis may not mean anything to you, unless you perfectly remember his life-saving intervention last year at Indian Wells.
During the quarter-final between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev, a bee invasion occurred after just a few minutes of play, forcing the match to be interrupted for two hours.
It was thanks to the intervention of Lance Davis, a local beekeeper, that the match was able to resume.
And, to everyone's surprise, he reappeared today before Alcaraz's match against Quentin Halys, exchanging a friendly handshake with the world No. 3.
