The first eight pairs qualified for the US Open mixed doubles are known
The new US Open mixed doubles competition is beginning to take shape with the unveiling of the first eight pairs directly qualified thanks to their combined singles rankings.
The teams are as follows: Sinner/Navarro, Anisimova/Rune, Swiatek/Ruud, Rybakina/Fritz, Paolini/Musetti, Pegula/Paul, Andreeva/Medvedev, and Keys/Tiafoe.
Eight more pairs will enter the competition through wild cards. The organizers will have to choose among other stars from the circuit and specialists in the discipline. The allocation of these wild cards will take place at a date currently unknown.
