The first Sinner-Alcaraz Grand Slam final, the women's doubles: Sunday's schedule at Roland-Garros
The Roland-Garros organizers have unveiled the schedule for June 8, 2025.
Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini will kick off the day on Court Philippe-Chatrier at 11 a.m., competing in the women's doubles final for the second consecutive year. They had fallen short last year. The Italian pair will face Krunic and Danilina.
Alcaraz will step onto the center court against Sinner starting at 3 p.m., in a clash between the 2000s generation. This marks the 8th time since the early 1980s that both the men's and women's finals of a major will feature the world No. 1 and No. 2, as Sabalenka will also face Gauff this Saturday.
A four-time Grand Slam champion and defending titleholder, the Spaniard has never lost a major final. Across the net, he will meet the Italian, a three-time Grand Slam winner who is currently on a 20-match unbeaten streak in these tournaments.
The two players have faced each other 11 times on the tour, with the El Palmar native holding the advantage (7-4, including 2-1 in Grand Slams). Their last meeting was in the Rome final, where Alcaraz won in straight sets (7-6, 6-1).
