The Masters without a member of the Big 3 - a first since 2001!
Following the announcement of Novak Djokovic's withdrawal due to injury, this edition of the Masters will definitively open a new chapter in tennis history.
These are the first ATP Finals in which there will be no member of the Big 3 among the qualified players, something that hasn't happened since 2001. Roger Federer was the first to appear at the Masters, starting in the 2002 season.
Rafael Nadal joined him in 2006 for his first appearance, followed by Novak Djokovic in 2007.
And it was Djokovic who extended this 23-year record, winning the event last year for the seventh time in his career.
The Turin Masters 2024 will therefore represent a real change of era for men's tennis, even if several of the players qualifying this year have experience of the event over several seasons, such as Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev.
