The match at Wimbledon was a tough loss," Gauff prepares for a new showdown against Yastremska

Coco Gauff and Dayana Yastremska will face off in Cincinnati, just over a month after their first-round clash at Wimbledon.
That day, the Ukrainian delivered a flawless performance to defeat the world No. 2 in straight sets (7-6, 6-1) on the London grass. Gauff, whose struggles with her serve and overall game have been evident since the start of the American tour, hopes to be at her best this time against Yastremska:
"I never think of tennis as a form of revenge. At first, I used to think that way, but then I realized I play against too many people too often to have a revenge mindset. I think this is a great opportunity to see where my game stands. I consider the match at Wimbledon a tough loss, and I didn’t approach it the right way.
I still have difficulties against her. She’s a tricky opponent, a great striker who can pull off winning shots out of nowhere. It’ll be a tough test for me, especially playing her again. But I think I’ve had more time to prepare for the hardcourt tour, and it’s a surface that suits me better than grass.
