The Rome Masters 1000 Unveils Its Participant List with the Return of Sinner
The 82nd edition of the Rome Masters 1000 will take place from May 7 to 18. One month before the start of the tournament in the Italian capital, the event organizers have revealed the entry list.
There are no surprises among the registered players, except for the return of Jannik Sinner to competition. The world No. 1, currently suspended for negligence, will play his second tournament of the year at home after missing the 2024 edition due to a hip injury.
As for the rest of the list, this year’s cutoff stops at the 78th spot in the rankings, held by Laslo Djere. Meanwhile, Reilly Opelka has chosen to use his protected ranking to enter the main draw directly.
Gabriel Diallo is the first alternate, followed by Hugo Gaston and Fabian Marozsan.
