In an interview with Rolex on Wimbledon's Centre Court, Jannik Sinner shared his thoughts on his rival, Carlos Alcaraz.

The Italian recalled his first match against the Spaniard in April 2019 in Alicante. He said: "There are certain players you can quickly tell have something special, Carlos is one of them.

Ever since we were very young, when we faced each other on the Challenger circuit, you could immediately see how his ball sounded, how he moved, and everything else. We knew he would reach the top, no doubt...

For example, that kind of thinking wasn’t as clear to me about myself.
