There's an exceptional story," Rinderknech discusses his journey and that of his cousin Vacherot
It's a family affair in Shanghai. The two cousins Arthur Rinderknech and Valentin Vacherot have qualified for the quarterfinals. When asked by L'Équipe about his relationship with his cousin, Rinderknech spoke out.
"We have dinner together almost every night. Yesterday, I warmed him up, I did my best to give him the best possible warm-up. He plays a day before me. He wins, I have to follow suit!
He's my cousin, we've been spending vacations together since we were little. There's an exceptional story. I'm just proud and happy about his great week and I'm sure it's not the last one.
He's an exceptional guy, with a big heart. I'm a very proud cousin. He also has the good fortune of having his brother (Benjamin Balleret, who is also his coach) who is my cousin too, who gives everything for him, who pushes him every day.
